Born in Charlotte, N.C. on December 21, 1947.  A graduate of Garinger High School in 1967.  Late in 1967, I received an Army draft notice and quickly joined the Air Force to avoid all the mud holes in Vietnam.  My second assignment, August 1969, was to Eglin AFB at Niceville, Florida.  There I met my wife, Debbie, and we were married May 2, 1971.  We have 2 sons and 5 grandchildren.  I made a career of the Air Force visiting places like Alaska, Japan, Korea, Okinawa, Guam, and the Philippines.  While in the Air Force, I earned and Associate Degree in Resourse Management in 1978.  I retired February 1st, 1988 after a very sucesseful career.   Over the past 22 years, I have work in construction in one way or another.  I have been in maintenance, and electrical contractor, fire inspector, and a real estate salesperson.   Overall, I've had a very good life.  In September 2009, I went on a quest to find all the Ravens band members and it only took a few months.  We schueduled a reunion in Daytona Beach, May of 2010 and what a great reunion it was.  I hadn't kept up with my music but have been hard at it since December.  I look forward to seeing all these guys at future reunions.
